CO-CURRICULAR AND EXTRA
CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Co-curricular and extra curricular activities ensures the holistic
development of the child. To fulfill the needs of the new age students
and to equip him successfully meet global challenges, a plethora of
activities have been woven into the school curriculum. To name a few
club activities for classes VI-VIII, Theatre in Education for classes
IV and V. Newspaper in Education for classes VI and VIII, Global Awareness
Programme for classes 3 and 7 and Lifestyles programme by Banjara Academy
for Classes 9 and 10.
Inter house, inter class, and inter school competitions enhance the
competitive skills of the children. Students are also encouraged to
take wide number of competitive exams to assess their cognitive skills.
Many students have brought laurels to the school in a variety of competitions.
Our teachers are not far behind. A quiz competition for school teachers
in view of Teachers Day was organized by the National Hill View Public
School. 59 school participated out of which our school team consisting
of Mrs. Leena Uthaiah and Mrs. Revathi T bagged the I prize and won
themselves each a Home Theatre in Quiz competition and a microwave oven
for the school Quiz Master Mr. Giri Subramanyam conducted the quiz.
