Academics:

The CBSE Board Exams for Class X were held between 3rd March & 30th March 09. 90 students took the AISSE Board Exams in March 09. The class average was 79.96 with 59 distinctions, 88 - 1st classes, 2- 2nd classes and 1 compartment. Prem M Parekh topped the school with an aggregate of 96.8%. He is also the topper in Mathematics among the Sahodaya Schools Complex. A comparative statement of the students securing 90% and above at the CBSE Board exams 2009 at the All India level, Chennai and Sindhi High School, K K Rd is as follows:
CBSE - 5.94, Chennai - 14.94, SHS KK Rd - 17.8

It is heartening to note that 7 of the Resource Room students who took the class X exams have fared extremely well. Their percentages vary between 66.8 and 84.8%.

Retirement:
Mrs Madhawilata Arora (Hindi faculty), Mrs Suguna Bhushan (English faculty) and Mr Simhan G.S (Maintainance Manager) were felicitated. A gift Cheque worth Rs. 25,000/- was presented to Mrs Madhawilata Arora for the completion of 25 years of invaluable services.
